The Ravens got on the board in the first as Renzo Gonzalez scored on a fielder's choice. On the other side, Cole Stallings lost a heartbreaker giving up one hit, allowing one unearned run and striking out 11 for Newsome.

Jesuit scored a run each in the last two innings to top Parkview (ranked No. 16 in nation, No. 1 in Georgia) by a score of 2-1. The Tigers got an RBI single from Brandon Incardona in the sixth and Joe Casale drove in the winning run in the seventh with a ground ball to shortstop. Junior Camden Minacci struck out seven in a complete-game effort, allowing one unearned run maintaining his 0.00 ERA on the season.

Carrollwood Day's Daniel Vassallo doubled in the deciding run in the sixth before finishing up his complete-game effort on the mound as the Patriots topped district opponent Bishop McLaughlin at home on Thursday. Vassallo scattered four hits, allowing just one run and striking out five on the mound. Charlie Owen had an RBI single in the sixth as well, driving in Shelton Quarles, Jr. who led off the inning with a double.
