A costly Cowboys error in the sixth allowed a base runner, and Jefferson turned to speedy Tyson Mickie as a pinch runner and he got the job done stealing second and coming around to score on a pinch-hit single by Alejandro Montada to give the Dragons the edge in this one. Miguel Denson drove in four on two hits including a double. For Gaither, Frank Perez had a pair of doubles and two RBI.

Run-scoring singles from Justin Turk and Trey Bacon started things off for Sickles as the Gryphons never led up in a 10-run win at King. The senior Turk finished the night 4-for-4, with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base, while Rolando Linares drove in three and scored three. Holden Wade picked up his fifth win on the mound, giving up just one hit in four shutout innings with seven K's. Jacob Cordell had and RBI double for the Lions.
