Trevor Finan and Christian Tate each had RBI doubles in the sixth inning to push Armwood ahead for the win at Bloomingdale on Thursday evening. Finan also earned the win on the mound striking out nine, allowing just one unearned run. Bloomingdale's Brock Wilken added a late solo home run, but the Bulls chance at a comeback stopped there as Cameron Oliu picked up a game-ending strikeout to earn the save. Myles Caba worked four, no-hit innings on the mound for the Bulls striking out five, but allowing five walks and a run.

Lara finished 2-for-3 with three runs scored, Renzo Gonzalez was 2-for-4 with a runs scored, and Sam Drumheller earned the win on the mound with six strikeouts in four innings.

Plant City senior Parker Messick earned his first win on the mound striking out seven, in four innings of work, allowing one run on five hits. Cade Shissler who was the hero of the Raiders opening night win over Jefferson, stayed hot with a 3-for-4 night at the plate, scoring two and driving in two, Cole Cothren also picked up a pair of RBI, and Casey Mawhinney went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Wharton's lone run came in the first as Steven Hotinski doubled in a run to centerfield.
